UBER
👍 Pros :

  • No Surprise ! You will know exactly the price of the ride.
👎 Cons :

  • You need internet connection and the App on your phone.
  • Depending on traffic it could take between 45 minutes up to 2h. (usually 1h~1h30)

👍 Using Uber is a safe and easy way to come to the apartment.

TAXI
👍 Pros :

  • Quick pick-up.
👎 Cons :

  • Be sure to fix the price with the driver before getting in the Taxi.
  • Do not accept to pay extra for luggage (it is forbidden). The price should be the price you fixed or the price on taxi-meter (no extra).
  • Depending on traffic it could take between 45 minutes up to 2h. (usually 1h~1h30)

Taxi is also a good option and you will found a lot of them at the Taxi point outside the airport.

The price of the ride from any airport to Paris is fixed by law. You should not accept taxi-meter.

If you fix the price with the driver before getting in the taxi, it should be:

Between l’aĂ©roport de Paris – Charles-de-Gaulle and Paris rive gauche 62 €
Between l’aĂ©roport de Paris-Orly and Paris rive gauche 35 €

⚠️ Please do not accept solicitation from people inside or outside the airport.

It could be a good deal or a scam. Better not risk it.

RER (Inter/Outer City Train)
👍 Pros

  • The city train is fast and reliable
  • Inexpensive
  • Easy
👎 Cons

  • Beware of pickpockets
  • Mind the gap between the train and the platform

It’s easy to come from both Airports : Charles de Gaulle or Orly.

Once you get to the « Luxembourg » station it is only a 5 minutes walk to get to the apartment. (click here to see the route)

If you come from Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) :

It should take about 45 minutes and cost 11.45 €.

All the trains go through the center of Paris and your final stop will be « Luxembourg » station.

1 train out of 2 goes directly to the center of Paris and will avoid the suburban stops.

Only precautions :

⚠️ Just be sure not to go in direction of terminal 2 if you are in terminal 1

⚠️ Take a train direct to Paris in order to save time

(Next stop should be “Gare du Nord”  in direct trains)

⚠️ Buy your tickets before you get in the train

Once you are at the «Luxembourg» station just follow the bellow map and I will be waiting for you in front of the building (unless we plan otherwise).

Take the exit “place Edmond Rostand”
